Beyond Good & Evil 2 Is Still Being Worked On by Original Creator
Creator Michel Ancel is working on two games right now: the PS4-exclusive Wild and, apparently, Beyond Good & Evil 2.
Those who were hopeful enough to see a Beyond Good & Evil 2 trailer at Ubisoft's E3 press conference may be happy to hear that the game is still in development and creator Michel Ancel is working on it--though he's also working on the PS4-exclusive Wild, which is not a Ubisoft game.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed the long-awaited sequel is still alive during the YouTube Live at E3 broadcast. However, he did not confirm when exactly we'd see it get revealed.
"It's difficult to say," Guillemot said. "Michel is working on it, but he's doing two games at the same time--he's doing Wild at the same time. It's coming along, but he has to spend more time on it, so we can see it faster."
No other details on the game were divulged, but we've contacted Ubisoft to find out if Beyond Good & Evil 2 is the next game Ancel will finish after Wild. We'll update this if we receive any information.
This news comes after a "Beyond Good & Evil" trademark filed by Ubisoft showed up more than two months ago.
