Biden Campaign Debuts Custom Fortnite Map

2020 has been a big year for American political campaigns doing outreach through video games, and now we can add one more to the list. The Joe Biden presidential campaign launched a custom Fortnite map through the game's Creative mode.

The "Build Back Better with Biden" map houses six challenges to illustrate Biden's policy agenda, along with campaign materials like Biden/Harris signs. The challenges are said to take about a half-hour to complete. The map is also littered with little references, from houses for Biden's real-life family dogs to references to the candidate's love of ice cream to a "No Malarkey Station" sign. The Biden campaign earlier created Biden campaign yard signs for use in your Animal Crossing: New Horizons village, as well as its own Biden-themed Animal Crossing island. Similarly, New York House representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hopped on Twitch to stream Among Us with several streamers and her fellow Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar.
