BioWare Confirms New Dragon Age Game Is Still In Development
A Bioware developer confirmed on Twitter that the game is still being worked on.
If you were hoping for more information on the next Dragon Age--potentially Dragon Age 4--keep hoping. Mark Darrah, an executive producer at BioWare, has shared a small tidbit of information, which confirms that the team is, in fact, working on the game from home.
I realize that most of you are here for Dragon Age news and there hasn't been a lot of that lately...

Let me just run down some things I an say:
1. We are working on the next Dragon Age
2. Yes we are working from home
3. Working from home is harder
4. We are making progress
The tweet doesn't provide much information, but it confirms that the team is working from home and that working from home is harder for the developers.
The new Dragon Age was announced at the Game Awards in 2018 with the "Dread Wolf Rises," teaser, but not much else has been shared by EA and BioWare about the game. Darrah said in a blog post in 2018 that the new game had been in the works for "quite a while." During an earnings call in October 2019, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen said that the new Dragon Age likely wouldn't release until after April 2022, so don't expect too much new information for a long time.
Dragon Age: Inquisition--the most recent game in the series-- released 2014 for Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
GameSpot awarded the title a 9/10 in our Dragon Age: Inquisition review, with critic Kevin VanOrd writing, "Inquisition's characters and world, on the other hand, recall the grand gestures of the original Dragon Age, even though the game as a whole is so structurally different to its predecessors. It offers the thrill of discovery and the passion of camaraderie. It features a glee club called The Sing-Quisition, and a dwarf with writer's block. It establishes connections with its world in big ways and small, with the sight of a titanous temple and the smirk of an Orlesian commander in love. Dragon Age: Inquisition is a wonderful game and a lengthy pilgrimage to a magical world with vital thematic ties to one we already know."
