Blink 182, Weezer headline Rock Band store update

Is this extra content (the blink 182 track pack to be more exact) on Rockband or Rockband 2? Sorry if it seems I'm being stupid but I'm confused. Please help!

just checked the rockband store for ps3 and the songs havent been added yet. is there a certain time of day that new releases come out or something?

I don't know about everyone else but for me personally, I don't care whether a song is difficult or not, I just enjoy playing/singing the music. I think it's awesome we are getting Blink-182 and Weezer, love all the songs by them coming out this week.

blink-182 have about ten years of excellent back-cat stuff. Everything from Cheshire Cat to TOYPAJ. Why is it all we ever hear about is their disappointing self-titled release. I knew this would be the case as soon as I read the title. Sigh. I also like the angry people below yelling about blink and weezer never having achieved much and being bubble gum pop rock, or whatever, and so shouldn't be on Rockband. Good one guys. The recent track packs have been brilliant, as has been mentioned. Bad Religion, Rancid... they've done some Taking Back Sunday tracks, there was even A Day To Remember on the first Warped pack. Apprently nothing's too 'nu' for ol' Harmonix. And that's why I love you Rockband. Heh.

Blink-182 is great, but c'mon, where's "What's My Age Again?" and "Give Me One Good Reason"? These choices aren't that great.

Why don't they release Weezer's entire Blue Album? That would be perfect for this game, and it's a classic.

Harmonix has been in a real 'punk' mood lately.....First the Warped Tour packs, then Rancid, then Rise Against, now Blink-182. OK, those last two are more pop-punk but I digress....

lets have some real rock music yeah, blink182 weezer? thats just bubble gum pop/rock crap! Lets have some more rock royalty like the Kinks, Stones, or even abit of the jam. People who have made there mark and whose music will be about forever, cant see either blink nor weezer staking a claim to that title.

We've just had the excellent Beatles one so why not carry on the greatness by doing the rolling stones, or even the greatest guitar player of all time-Eric clapton? Any of them id buy but someone whose songs sit in the charts for a grand total of a couple of weeks?? no chance.

@ residude you'd be surprised how hard some songs are to play (on drums, at least) either way, difficulty doesnt matter. as long as it doesnt bore you to death.

YES!!! im so excited. I got tickets to see Weezer and Blink on august 25th and now I can have some more of their great music added to my collection in Rock Band!! this is great.

Nice to have some actual ROCK/METAL in there for once.They even got some hair band songs that are quite good.Blink 182 can die, frankly.

I disagree with My Name Is Jonas sucking in music games. My fave song in GH III and glad its on RB. Will def download blink's Feeling This and Down. Is the Kings of Leon a Wii only deal? I don't remember any content for 360

My Name Is Jonas sucks in music games. The freakin' Ramones have more difficulty in their songs than that particular song.

They should just release the entire Blue Album, I would buy that right away if they did. I really want to get 3 friends and go through all 8 epic minutes of Only In Dreams.

Ugh.. is this what we have to endure in exchange for those Iron Maiden and Death metal songs? Weeks of *yawn* track packs? Meh.. it was worth it.. lol

KISS is pretty good man

about time the wii version gets some Rise Against. Its awesome, because I just got some wii points yesterday. Not a bad week for the xbox/ps3 games either. I love blink 182. good to know that the wii will hopefully be getting these tracks next week.

I must say, i like the Blink songs a lot more then the Green Day tracks the put on here a while ago.

I don't know about how these will translate to difficulty to play in the game, but I'm glad to see music that I've grown up with in my life...KISS, Crue, Weezer, and Blink 182 available now. Good thing is, as gamers, we're given the choice whether or not we choose to purchase these things or not. I foresee the future bands marketing in this way as well. Music fans and game fans are normally one and the same. ROCK ON!!!
