Blood and Death Everywhere in Hitman: Agent 47's New Trailer

Get MARK STRONG for the next movie, for fox sake!

Beyond the fact that Olyphant looked more of an Agent 47 than we'll probably ever get in a movie, he at least portrayed the character in a much more believable way. This movie seems to be made by some people who have basic knowledge of Hitman games. He disguises with the clothes of his victims, check. He sometimes uses the environment to kill people, check. He has two pistols and maybe a sniper riffle, check and check. Oh, and he knows karate... I mean, yeah he was bred in a lab and he was trained to be an assassin, but that's where the science fiction stopped, he wasn't programmed to be a ninja, and that's in the frikin video games. 47 wasn't devoid of humanity, but in fact that was his problem throughout the series. The first movie at least got that right. I can understand the lack of subtlety in a Hitman movie. Let's be fair, we were 47, it probably took most of us a stupid amount of time replaying missions, fooling around trying to find some silly way to assasinate one target. Translating that into a movie would be boring. Besides, we've all been there, missions getting sideways, and then 47 proved to be very frikin fragile. I, personally, can't ask for an Oscar-worthy movie, but at least a good portrayal of the main character.

sigh, they are portraying her (in the trailers, maybe not the full film) as if she is some average girl who didn't know what she was capable of until 47 told her. then bam! super chick assassin mode engaged. sry it doesn't work that way. its the old Hollywood cliché "chosen one/the key" plot and shows the source material wasn't taken seriously enough to give this movie the plot and writing it deserves.

hes not really bald like agent 47, you can tell he just shaved his head. the previous hitman movie he was much more bald looking.

This is what people think absolution is who haven't played absolution, sure it's different from the other hitman games but you can stealth the game, absolution is like deus ex, this is just 80's action film.

Run-of-the-mill stuff. Everyone gets the their heads chopped off or brains blown out or slaughtered in a giant fan but the beautiful "mandatory" princess survives because a colonized bald killer falls for her. I don't buy it. And he's nowhere near the real character from the game in terms of resolve, determination and facial resolution. I liked the shower duck though, kinda took me back.

That was just retarded! One moment she's begging for help looking all scared, and as soon as 47 tells her she's like him, she instantly does something amazing. GTFO!

the actor they got to play 47 looks like he's bored. i dont know if it was just a personal preference for the producers to go with this guy but although timothy olyphant wasnt the best person for the role, imo, he still wouldve been better than this guy.

You know, if you're going to make a Hitman movie, you really ought to make him the antagonist rather than the main character. 47 barely ever says anything, and he's mysterious, and he doesn't (or at least he's really not supposed to) kill tons of dudes. Make 47 the super assassin the main character(s) is chasing and uncovering the background/past of. Don't put 47 in the spotlight, he's supposed to be a sneaky silent assassin.

It actually doesn't look that bad, but it's just too much on the Michael Bay side and not enough on the LEON side, for films I mean, easy to say it's not enough on the Hitman side =/

Good lord, this looks terrible.

OK, so the trailer doesn't particularly portray 47's stealthy repertoire, but the manner in which he dispatches baddies is at least unorthodox.

The plot...just looks like total rubbish. But the action looks good enough for me to watch it.

If you want to enjoy the movie, don't watch the trailer. Its basically one big chain of spoilers...

The guy playing 47 looks like a bad cosplayer. He looks too soft. Apart from that, the movie looks alright. Shout-out to Mance Rayder.

Video game movies are, by their nature, horrible. The medium does not translate well to film, and never will.

The action is fantastic, but the story is so bullcrap. Oh God, the plot is so awful! And beyond that THE TRAILER SPOILS THE ENTIRE MOVIE!

I actually enjoy the last Hitman movie and I'm looking forward to this new one. I'm just one of those guys who likes action pack movies and don't care how silly it is. Looking at you Sharknado.
