Lol, I can see the marketing pitch now. Dont buy it for the DVD, buy it to save $$$'s on the game. On a related note Kmart in Australia is trying to get rid of all its copies of the Doom movie by selling it for $5 with Peter Jackson's King Kong. I'd like to know why any videogame dev would allow Hollywood to make a movie of there game, it's just going to suck, really bad.

"BloodRayne sucking on DVD" That has got to be the best headline I've ever seen on Gamespot. ::rotflmao:: How can the director's cut and the original cut both be exactly the same length? Sounds like they just stuck the thing on the disc twice and called it a "bonus" feature.

This is destined to be one of those awful "cult" hits years from now. I just watched it and it's just plain cheesy. The acting is downright horrible the actors seem like they're reading cue cards. And the story is some rehash/mishmash of Vampire Hunter D and other films. This is a "B" movie gone reallly bad in a not-so-bad way. Atleast there is some T & A and gratuitous gore.

I pity the poor fool willing to fork over money for this disgrace, especially the identical "unrated directors cut."

The big-screen version already sucked real bad, so why waste more money making a DVD that probably 3 people will buy?

That had to give you a full version of the game as well as the movie just to make you even slightly think about buying it before you toss it aside for something of value.

If they are both the same length, why is one Unrated? Whatever it is that is so explicit must be less than half a minute long if anything is indeed added.

Ironically, "Dinner with Uwe" is supposed to be an interview IGN conducted with Uwe. Still, the movie is probably the suckiest bunch of suck that ever sucked- too bad MST3K isn't around anymore...

I have a feeling the news guys only wrote this for the sake of using that headline.

The only barely watchable scene in the movie is the sex scene where Loken is getting it against a jail cell door. I'm convinced now that Uwe's only hope is to direct porn.

I played both games and I didn't think they were that great. I haven't seen the movie, for obvious reasons, but yeah I don't need Roger or Ebert to tell me what a smelly turd that movie was/is.
