Do you want to find the terminal password in Blue Prince? You might stumble upon several rooms with computers, though you won't be able to log in at the start. Thankfully, you should be able to find the code that you need just a few hours into the campaign.

How to get the terminal password in Blue Prince

There are four computer terminals in the game. These are found in the Security Room, Office, Laboratory, and Shelter. As for the terminal password itself, there are a few clues found in documents all over the manor.

To be clear, you don't need to know the hints. In fact, you can scroll further down this guide if you want to know the password immediately. That said, we've opted to share where the most important clue can be found in case you want to solve this mystery on your own.

Where to find the terminal password clue?

The room that has the most important clue pertaining to the Blue Prince terminal password is the Security room. It happens to be one of the most common locations that you can draft in the manor.

Upon entering the Security room, you should see a note on the bulletin board at the back--i.e. the one with two small paintings. However, the scribbles are illegible, so you still need to find a handy tool.

Where to find the Magnifying Glass?

The tool that you need if you want to discover the Blue Prince terminal password is none other than the Magnifying Glass. Here's the kicker: Just like almost every item in the game, its location and appearance tend to be totally randomized. That means you might not even see it in multiple runs if you're unlucky.

In our experience, we've usually spotted the Magnifying Glass lying around in bedroom-type areas and dead-end rooms, such as the Attic or Walk-In Closet. Likewise, if you check the Commissary, then it might be among the options that you can purchase using gold.

Discovering the password

Once you have the Magnifying Glass, look at the note on the Security Room's bulletin board again. You should see a word that has been hastily erased: Swansong. Yup, you guessed it right. The terminal password in Blue Prince is Swansong.

Simply log in and key in the password (capitalization isn't necessary), and you should have access to other features. These include documents from staff that previously resided in the manor and a glossary of terms.

Note: You need to log in and input "Swansong" again whenever you boot up each computer.

Accessing other terminals remotely

Perhaps the most important feature is the one that allows Remote Terminal Access. It lets you open the computers in other rooms that you've visited during the same day/run. For instance, from the Security room, you can "spread the payroll" via the Office computer. Alternatively, you can start or pause a Laboratory experiment, even if the Laboratory itself is all the way at the other side of the manor.
