Bonk's Revenge headed to Wii VC
Hardheaded caveman returns to downloadable game service next month, along with three more from the TurboGrafx-16.
Hudson Entertainment has updated its official Virtual Console Web site with news of four TurboGrafx-16 games set for release on the Wii's downloadable game service next month, and the lineup is headed up by Bonk's Revenge.
The second installment in the character's TG-16 platformer trilogy is also the second Bonk game to arrive on the Virtual Console; the original Bonk's Adventure was available at the system's November 2006 launch. Neither Bonk III: Bonk's Big Adventure nor the shoot-'em-up spin-off Air Zonk have been announced for the Virtual Console.
Accompanying the hypercephalic caveman onto the system will be Namco Bandai Games' Bravoman and Hudson's own Shockman, both side-scrolling action games. Those desiring a slight change of pace can look forward to Battle Lode Runner, a puzzle-action take on the classic series.
Once released, all four games will be sold for 600 Wii points ($6).
