Borderlands 3 Is Heavily Discounted This Month

Gearbox Software has announced a big sale on Borderlands 3's digital versions, with players able to pick up the shooter-looter for a nice discount throughout February. The discounts run as deep as 67% off the standard edition of the game and lesser amounts off the Next-Level, Super Deluxe, and Ultimate Edition versions.

Gearbox ran down the various sales in a blog post, and we've pasted the sale details below, with descriptions written by Gearbox. In short, the discounts are available across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC (Steam and Epic). The deals are only available for a limited time, so you'll want to check the specifics and act quickly if you're interested.

This sale comes just as Gearbox made several big announcements about the Borderlands series. The game's big Designer's Cut update, which introduces a new raid, launches in March, while Tales From the Borderlands will return to digital stores on February 17.

Looking wider, Gearbox has been acquired by Embracer Group in a deal valued at up to $1.3 billion. Despite the sale, 2K Games will continue to publish the Borderlands series. Gearbox also has ideas for new games that could shake up the industry in a big way.
