Borderlands Claptrap DLC rolling out
Gearbox's shoot-and-loot title expands again with New Robot Revolution starring quirky monoped for $10 this September.
Gearbox Software's Pandora, the home planet in Borderlands, is a popular place for gamers to visit…but it's now facing a revolution.
2K Games and Gearbox today announced the fourth downloadable expansion pack for the shoot-and-loot sci-fi game. Dubbed Claptrap New Robot Revolution, the content thrusts players into a civil war between the Hyperion Corporation and the Claptraps, led by the elusive Ninja Assassin.
The Robot Revolution downloadable content adds new missions and enemies--including Claptrap-ified monsters--to shoot and loot, as well as new boss battles. Additionally, the content lets gamers earn an additional 10 skill points and three supplementary backpack slots for holstering more weapons.
This fourth downloadable expansion follows previously released Borderlands content Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot, The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, and The Secret Armory of General Knoxx.
Claptrap New Robot Revolution will arrive on Xbox Live, the PlayStation Network, and Windows PC this September priced at 800 Microsoft points or $9.99. For more on the series, check out GameSpot's review.
