Bouncer Hands-On

Our hopes of learning more about Square's "seamless action battle" game, The Bouncer, were squashed upon seeing no controller ports sticking out of its display terminal in Square's booth. Although it's been translated into English, little more was revealed about the nature of the game, save details previously known only to Japanese-enabled gamers.

The movie is impressive, to say the least, with all the dynamic scenes rendered using the game engine. The title remains genre-less, for the most part, though I wouldn't think it too far-fetched to say it resembles some kind of evolved beat 'em up. Any information regarding the game from Square's front will appreciated, as it looks too tasty for words. Be sure to let me know if you hear anything.
