The Dreamcast recognized as one of the Best Products of 1999 by Business Week magazine.
Sega of America announced on Friday that its Dreamcast console has been included as one of the Best Products of 1999 by Business Week magazine. Cited for revolutionary design and technological advances, the Dreamcast console features a modem for Internet capability. Dreamcast titles like NFL2K and Soul Calibur were also mentioned as reason for the system's praise.
"The Sega Dreamcast has had a stellar three months on the market and has sold one million units. We are honored that the respected staff at Business Week magazine recognized the Sega Dreamcast as one of the best for this year," said Peter Moore, senior vice president of Sega of America. "Moving into 2000, we will continue to set new standards in console gaming by being the first gaming company to bring an online gaming experience to a console via the Sega Dreamcast Network."
