Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Casts Law & Order Star as Villain
Kevin Spacey out, Christopher Meloni in.
It looks like Call of Duty: Black Ops III will feature the voice and likeness of Law & Order actor Christopher Meloni. His involvement with the shooter was revealed as part of the game's thrilling story trailer, which featured a character, John Taylor, who looked and spoke exactly like Meloni. See the image below.
Although Taylor appears to be a bad guy, the distinction between good and bad seems blurry, as the video suggests that human augmentation gone wrong had something to do with Taylor's turn. You can watch the full Black Ops III story trailer below.
Meloni is having fun with his Twitter followers about the news. Asked about what his character does in Black Ops III, Meloni said, "Run around. Bake a few cakes. Pick flowers... U know, actiony stuff."
To another person who said, "No way you're in Black Ops 3!" Meloni replied all in hashtags.
"#homieKeepsHisSecrets #closeToTheVest #LooseLipsSinkShips," he said.

This isn't the first time a celebrity actor has appeared in a Call of Duty game. Last year's Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare featured Academy Award-winning actor Kevin Spacey, while past games have featured people like Gary Oldman, Kiefer Sutherland, and Sam Worthington, among others.
Black Ops III's Zombies mode, meanwhile, will feature even more celebrities, including Jeff Goldblum, Ron Perlman, Heather Graham, and Neal McDonough.
We've followed up with Activision in an attempt to learn more about Meloni's involvement in Black Ops III.
Black Ops III launches on November 6 for all platforms. The last-generation versions of the shooter do not have a campaign mode, a point that will be made clear on the game's box. Recently, Activision conducted a viral marketing campaign for Black Ops III where it live-tweeted a fake terrorist attack.
