Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC Finally Coming to PS3
We've contacted Activision PR to ask about the possibility of the DLC coming to Xbox 360.
If you're playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on the PlayStation 3, then you'll be happy to know it will receive the Awakening Map Pack next week. The pack comes with four multiplayer maps and the first chapter of Black Ops 3's zombies campaign.
You'll be able to play on the Skyjacked, Splash, Gauntlet, and Rise DLC maps starting April 5. Part one of the zombie romp, Der Eisendrache, will also be available. Der Eisendrache is set in an Austrian castle in the middle of World War II and features characters from the first appearance of Zombies mode in Call of Duty: World at War.
It's not yet clear if the Awakening DLC will ever be available on Xbox 360, as Sony and Activision struck a deal for timed exclusivity last E3. It's also unclear if other map packs will come to PS3 as well. We've contacted Activision PR and will update this article as we receive more information.
The Awakening Map Pack will be available on April 5 and will cost $14.99. The PS3 will not get the Season Pass, as the pack will be available on its own. And if you purchase it, you'll also receive a static theme based on the DLC.

In related news, the latest Call of Duty added new emotes based on Shia Labouef and LeBron James. And if you're playing on PS4, Xbox One, or PC, then you've already been treated to Black Ops 3's Nuketown for free.
