Call Of Duty Cheat Providers Shut Down Ahead Of Verdansk's Return

Four CoD cheat providers reportedly shut down before Season 3 of Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

Four Call of Duty cheater providers have reportedly shut down, with the timing notably coming just ahead of the upcoming launch of Season 3 for Black Ops 6 and Warzone. Call of Duty has recently struggled with cheaters, and with Verdansk's big return to Warzone next month, no one wants hackers ruining the fun.

This report comes from Call of Duty content creator LunchTime, who used social media to share that four Call of Duty cheat providers confirmed to have shut down this week. The details can be seen in the tweet below.

Activision has yet to comment on the shutdowns of these cheat providers, but the publisher recently released an extreme warning to Call of Duty cheaters about account sharing, reminding players that selling accounts is a violation of the Call of Duty terms of use. These sold accounts can be perma-banned.

Despite the efforts of Call of Duty's Ricochet anti-cheat, cheating has been so rampant in Black Ops 6 and Warzone that Activision finally gave players the ability to disable cross-play for Ranked Play modes.

However, more anti-cheat updates are planned for Call of Duty. Activision recently revealed that a new Ricochet blog will be released closer to the launch of Season 3, which will highlight new anti-cheat technology and account security updates.

Season 3 arrives to Black Ops 6 and Warzone on April 3, returning the OG Verdansk map to Warzone along with fan-favorite Call of Duty operators from previous Black Ops and Modern Warfare and games. Season's 3's Zombies map is called Shattered Veil, and we recently learned more about its location and story implications..

“One step closer to hacker-free COD“

Ahaha you wish and never going to happen. What a bunch of ass clowns to believe that. 🤡 They are like cockroaches. Stomp a few down and 20 more come back. Never ending cycle.

No_named_gamer is dead bang on. Serious changes need to be made and until then most are going to avoid the game no matter the hype. The same old marketing tactics are not bringing anyone back.

Unfortunately they need to charge for Warzone.

If it was a paid game less people would cheat. There would still be cheaters but the threat of losing your account, that you paid for would deter some of them. Activision would never do that as they probably wouldn't make as much money off the battle pass and skins.

Yeah this is wishful thinking. They are shutting down the names of the cheat companies. There will be seven more that pop up after this. They shut the company down but the cheat users are still running rampant. Just go to any game mode and over half the lobbies are cheaters. They are over 150k strong (more then the average of players) and they are not going to quit. A week after all of this goes live it will just be infected by cheaters all over again. Activision needs to realize that there are ex developers making these cheats and leaking code. Unless they build the game brand new and implement the changes there, the cheaters will still cheat and grief, that's the whole message of the cheat developers, to make normal players grief. None of this will solve anything, and with more and more streamers, major streamers, and content creators using and promoting the cheats, the more the cheater population grows. If you want to be good at the game then you'll need to out cheat the cheaters, so you'll pay for better cheats. Once a cheater gets "banned" it sends the ban to another innocent person by randomly selecting an inactive account or someone that plays casually. Or they can just simply hit a button and it will generate a fully functional account, loaded with all weapons and whatever rank they want, all skin unlocks, camos, the works. They basically have development software. Good luck beating that, just uninstall the game. The cheats range from, 1.5x rapid fire, homing grenades which work on the new buzz saw gun, permanent recon, auto aim, movement hacks where they run and move faster which is why you'll see someone running full cracked out with no movement perks on, one shot kill pistols, pulling zombie weapons into basic modes, proximity grenades, and wz armor plates. That's just a small amount. You may call me tin foil hat but go look at the cheats on github. Like I said good luck.
