Call of Duty Gets Dragons With New Expansion Out Now on PS4
Black Ops 3's new Descent expansion has arrived on PS4.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III grows today with its latest expansion, Descent. The add-on is out now for PlayStation 4 and should come to Xbox One and PC in about a month.
Included with the expansion is all the usual content such as four multiplayer maps (Berserk, Cryogen, Rumble, and Empire), as well as the next Zombies campaign, Gorod Krovi. This is not like those that came before it, however, as it includes dragons and giant robots.
Gorod Krovi takes place in a war-ravaged Stalingrad after the events of Zetsubou No Shima, the last DLC pack's chapter. You can check it out in the Motorhead-fueled video above.
A previous trailer showed off things like zombies, guns, and blood, as well as some new weapons and enemies. In that earlier trailer, you can see a character using a dragon-themed shield that shoots some kind of green fire, in addition to combat encounters with flying robots that have mechanical tentacles.
Descent is priced at $15. You can queue up your download right now from the PlayStation Store. The Store page lists the content as being 7.1 GB.
It is Black Ops III's third of four planned expansions. The first two were called Awakening and Eclipse, while the last one has not yet been announced.
The next Call of Duty game, meanwhile is this November's Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Activision is also remastering Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, but the only way to get it is to buy one of the premium versions of Infinite Warfare.
