Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Movement System Similar to Black Ops 3's, Dev Says
Players can expect a "chain-based fluid movement system."
When Activision announced Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare earlier this month, the company said the game's multiplayer would offer an "evolution of Call of Duty's movement system." Additionally, a listing for the game on GameStop.com mentions a return of the "popular chain-based movement system."
Developer Infinity Ward has not, however, provided much in the way of specifics. That still hasn't changed, but the studio today tweeted some further details about what you can expect. In short, Call of Duty: Black Ops III players should feel right at home (via CharlieIntel).

This suggests that things like double-jumping and wall-running, among other movement elements, will return for Infinite Warfare. We would also be surprised if new movement abilities are not added to the mix, especially considering some maps are set in outer space and on different planets.
Infinite Warfare launches on November 4 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Activision is also releasing a remastered version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, but the only way to get it is through a premium version of Infinite Warfare; it will not be sold on its own.
