Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Is Down To $39 For Warzone Launch
Call of Duty: Warzone is free, but if you want to enjoy the rest of Modern Warfare, you can currently buy it on sale.
Last year's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is one of the best games in the series for quite some time, and it just launched a brand-new mode called Warzone. This is the battle royale mode of which various aspects have leaked over the past few months. With Warzone out now, you can find some nice deals on the full game. Of course, Call of Duty: Warzone is completely free for everyone, so you won't need to wait for your copy to show up to start playing.
The game's regular price is $60, but it's currently on sale for $39 on both PS4 and PC if you want to buy it digitally. You can find those deals on the PlayStation Store and Battle.net. If you prefer to buy a physical copy, Walmart currently has Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for $45 on PS4 and Xbox One right now.
Call of Duty: Warzone features a huge map that can host 150 players in one match. In addition to the battle royale mode, it features Plunder, a mode where players have to collect the most cash to win. This requires you to loot, steal, and complete mid-game objectives called Contracts. You'll also be able to take control of a number of different vehicles, including ATVs, trucks, and helicopters.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare deals:
In GameSpot's Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare review, editor Kallie Plagge scored the game a 7/10, praising its campaign missions and smart multiplayer additions while lamenting the "nonsensically difficult" Spec Ops mode.
"The pitfalls of Spec Ops don't detract from what Modern Warfare does well, though," she wrote. "Realism mode is an excellent addition to the slate, and although not all the new multiplayer modes are great, Gunfight and the Night Vision playlist are refreshing standouts. And while the campaign ends up playing it safe in the end, it's still a memorable one, and it lays a strong foundation for where the Modern Warfare series could go from here."
