Captain Marvel: "Special Look" Trailer Has New Footage
Captain Marvel arrives in March.
The new Captain Marvel movie starring Brie Larson hits theatres in March, and now a new "special look" trailer for the superhero film has landed. This new trailer, which premiered during the College Football National Championship on Monday night, contains footage from previous trailers as well as a number of brand-new scenes.
The trailer deals further with further explaining who the Skrulls are, as Larson's Carol Danvers explains to Nick Fury that they are invading Earth. She attempts to prove that she isn't a Skrull by firing off a photon blast, which she says Skrulls are not capable of. (You'll have to take her word for that.)
Captain Marvel also stars Jude Law, Gemma Chan, Samuel L. Jackson, Lee Pace, Ben Mendelsohn, Annette Bening, and Djimon Hounsou. You can see a full breakdown of who's in the movie here.
The new movie lands in theaters on March 8. With that release date fast approaching, tickets are now on sale in the US, including those for early showings on the night of Thursday, March 7.
Captain Marvel fans won't have to wait long to see more of the character after her debut movie, as Larson is set to play Captain Marvel again in April's Avengers: Endgame.
