Cheap PC Game Deals On Steam This Week
A lot of bang for your buck.
Steam's week-long sale is live, featuring a number of excellent games that are available for deeply discounted rates. Lots of indie games in particular are on sale, often for just a few bucks each. So if you've been looking at your Steam library with a forlorn expression wishing you had something new to play, now's a good chance to freshen it up without dropping loads of cash. Take a look at some of the highlights below.
Let's start with the really cheap games, of which you can find plenty right now. The solemn and gorgeous game Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is on sale for just $2 / £2, as is Ubisoft's vertical platformer Grow Home. Its sequel, Grow Up, is discounted to $3 / £2.

Three bucks also gets you the rhythm-roguelike game Crypt of the Necrodancer. And The Sims 3 might not be the latest game in the series, but it's on sale for $3 / £4--and it received 9/10 in GameSpot's Sims 3 review.
Moving on up the pricing scale brings us to the WWI-set game Valiant Hearts: The Great War for $5 / £4, with the artistic RPG Child of Light dropping down to the same price. The Kojima-approved game of re-arranging comic book panels Framed Collection is on sale for $7 / £5. And if you haven't picked up Kerbal Space Program yet, you can now for $20 / £15.
