Check out some Zelda Hyrule Warriors Wii U screenshots
New images released for upcoming Wii U Zelda/Dynasty Warriors mashup game; Ninja Gaiden studio Team Ninja revealed as co-developer.
New screenshots for hack and slash Zelda Wii U game Hyrule Warriors have been released, showing off what it looks like when the worlds of Nintendo's Legend of Zelda franchise and Tecmo Koei's Dynasty Warriors series come together.
Announced in December during a Nintendo Direct video presentation, Hyrule Warriors is scheduled to launch in 2014. Importantly, Hyrule Warriors is not the previously announced new Zelda game for Wii U led by series producer Eiji Aonuma.
Hyrule Warriors--developed by Omega Force and Team Ninja--launches August 14 in Japan, but there's no word on if it's coming to Western markets like North America or Europe. In the game, Link will take on an array of monsters using weapons including a sword, bombs, and his signature spin attack.
