Check Out These Cool New Heroes of the Storm Skins, Including a Metroid One

Blizzard has shown off a variety of new skins on the way to Heroes of the Storm, including one for an upcoming character that looks more than a little like Metroid's protagonist.

The video starts off showcasing some of the looks for Lt. Morales, the StarCraft Medic we previously heard was coming to HotS. After seeing the color variations for her standard skin (every skin in HotS has three different color schemes), we get a look at the Master Lt. Morales skin. One of its color schemes bears a strong resemblance to Samus, which you can bet isn't a coincidence. Morales also has a skin that looks to me a bit like a character out of Warhammer.

Skins for another new character, Artanis, also receive some time in the video, as does the new Marshal skin for Raynor. This one includes themed abilities, like turning his weapon into a shotgun (complete with a shell that is ejected when using Penetrating Round) and putting a sheriff's badge over his head when using Inspire.

Falstad also gets a new skin, Buccaneer Falstad, with themed abilities that see him shooting cannonballs rather than hammers.

New mounts are on display, too, including the excellent-looking Void Speeder. There's also a new variation of the free Battle Beast mount called the Nexus Battle Beast, which Murky looks absolutely hilarious while riding with his Grunty skin equipped.

None of these skins are available just yet--as is to be expected with Morales and Artanis, in particular, seeing as they aren't in the game yet--but Blizzard says they'll be available "soon." A full list of skins seen in the video follows below.
