Check Out This Fallout 4 Headless Glitch

A new Fallout 4 glitch has been discovered in which the player's head is removed--but they don't die. YouTube user postbroadcast (via GamesRadar) posted a video that documents the rare glitch, featuring a funny narration for how it happened and the effects that not having a head in Fallout 4 have on gameplay.

On the one hand, not having a head in the wasteland is a bummer because you can no longer get haircuts. But on the other hand, no enemy will ever kill you with a headshot.

How did this happen? As you'll see, postbroadcast (who named himself Donald Trump in Fallout 4) was fighting a Deathclaw creature, which ripped his head off. He attempted to revive himself, but nothing worked; his Perception stats remained at zero.

The problem became clear as day when he switched to a third-person camera.

Postbroadcast said he saved and then re-loaded his Fallout 4 file to see if his headless status was still in effect, but it wasn't. He also notes that he did not use any mods or hacks for this glitch.

Here is a list of things he says he wishes he'd done while he was separated from his head:

• Try to find my head
• Facial reconstructive surgery. (Assumed same result as barber)
• Wear hats or glasses
• Use power armor

This isn't the first Fallout 4 glitch we've seen and it probably won't be the last.

Fallout 4 launched on November 10 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Bethesda shipped 12 million physical copies of the game to retailers for launch day, though it's unclear how many were actually sold through to consumers. Estimates from research group SuperData suggest the game sold 1.8 million copies across digital channels in its first three days. Whatever the case, the game is clearly off to a strong start.
