Counter Logic Gaming has announced the recruitment of William "Scarra" Li as their new Coach. They believe that Scarra has both the experience and the knowledge to lead the new CLG team heading into the 2015 Season.

I have known Scarra for a long time - he was not only a very good player, but also an extremely smart player," said George "HotshotGG" Georgallidis, CEO of Counter Logic Gaming. "I am happy to see him join CLG and know that he will be able to lead CLG back into as one of the top teams in North America. While we had a lot of setbacks towards the end of the Summer Split; this is just one of the many steps that CLG is taking to improve for the following 2015 season.

CLG has also announced that tryouts for the mid and jungle positions will begin immediately and will undergo a three step process.

The tryouts will undergo a three-step process.

  • A completed application sent to tryout@clgaming.net.
  • If your application is accepted you will receive an interview conducted with the management and players.
  • After the interview, chosen applicants will be allowed a tryout with the team.

There are a few requirements for potential applicants:

Applicants must be:

  • A high-school graduate.
  • Challenger in ranked solo queue or have previous challenger/professional league experience [LCS, OGN, Coke, etc].
  • Eligible to play in the LCS.
