Cloud 9 managed to claim their first win against an international team today on the final eve of the Battle of the Atlantic, and the stakes couldn't have been higher for the Americans. Not only was this their chance to exact revenge upon the team that eliminated them from the Season 3 World Finals earlier in the year, but a victory against the European roster here would make North America the winners of the Battle of the Atlantic.

C9 took the chance to silence their doubters, and sweeped fnatic 2-0. Displaying their patented coordination in team fights and objective control, they choked fnatic out in both games of the series and claimed the Battle of the Atlantic title for NA.

Hai 'Hai' Du Lam, C9's midlaner spoke to ongamer's very own Travis Gafford following the series about the match. Topics in the interview include: Did they expect to win against fnatic?
