Cobra Kai Season 4 Features Terry Silver's Return
Silver answers the call and is back in the dojo.
Netflix has released a quick Season 4 teaser for Cobra Kai, along with the announcement that Thomas Ian Griffith will be returning as The Karate Kid III antagonist Terry Silver--ending speculation and predictions to this effect since the Season 3 finale. The season doesn't yet have a release date, but this news definitely gives fans a lot to look forward to.
"Since the beginning of the series, we've been carefully orchestrating the right moment to unleash Cobra Kai dojo co-founder Terry Silver back into the universe," said Cobra Kai executive producers and writers Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg in a statement. "That moment is now. We can't wait for the whole world to experience Thomas Ian Griffith's majestic return to the franchise."
Have patience. He’s just getting everything rolling.

As long-time franchise fans remember, Silver's illegal actions in the third Karate Kid movie prevented the Cobra Kai from entering the All Valley Karate Tournament. His character technically has already been on the Netflix series, shown in flashbacks in Season 3. When that recent season came to a close with John Kreese (Martin Kove) calling an old friend while looking at a photo of Silver, many assumed what this announcement confirmed--Silver would be making a return. This development comes on the heels of the recent news that Season 4 recently wrapped production.
Cobra Kai takes place over 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, and delves into the "inescapable conflict" between Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka).
