CoD: Black Ops 6 And Warzone Patch Notes Reveal Return Of Legacy XP Tokens
The latest update for BO6 and Warzone brings back those old XP tokens.
A small update has arrived to both Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 And Warzone. The November 19 patch notes include the return of legacy XP tokens to Black Ops 6 and a fix for overpowered shotguns in Warzone.
One of the main highlights of the update is the return of the legacy XP tokens, which were tokens players earned in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone prior to Black Op 6's launch. These XP tokens were originally added in with the Season 1 update, but the developer removed them shortly after, claiming that they were connected to a UI bug with potential risk to game stability. Now players can once again activate those old MW3 tokens to level up faster in Black Ops 6.

The update also addresses a bug where MW2 and MW3 camos could be applied to Black Ops 6 weapons. The developer says this was unintentional, as camos from previous titles were not designed for Black Ops 6 weapons and are not supported due to visual inconsistencies. This correction applies to gun customization in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
The patch notes vaguely reveal various stability improvements are included for both multiplayer and Zombies.
On the Warzone side, the update fixed an issue that caused shotguns to be overpowered with longer damage ranges than intended. Unfortunately, it also corrects an issue that allowed players to earn more XP in battle royale than intended.

Season 1 of Call of Duty continues to add new content to the game, with Ranked Play mode arriving to multiplayer on November 21. In other related news, Call of Duty is now more popular on Xbox than it is on any other platform for the first time in over a decade.
