CoD: Warzone And MW3 Season 5 Trailer Shows Off Cel-Shaded Maps And WWE's Rhea Ripley
Cel-shaded map variants and a WWE crossover are confirmed for Season 5.
A trailer has dropped to showcase the new content arriving in Season 5 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. The new season arrives on July 24, bringing more multiplayer maps and introducing Rhea Ripley as an operator for Call of Duty's collaboration with the WWE. [Update: The new season is live, and you can check out the full CoD Season 5 patch notes.]
As shown in the trailer below, Season 5 adds two new maps called Bait and Yard. The update also includes cartoony cel-shaded variants of three popular small maps: Rust, Shipment, and Stash House.
WWE superstar Rhea Ripley's operator is also revealed, and she's seen wielding weapons like a sledgehammer and a colorful gun blueprint. Rhea is the only wrestling operator confirmed so far, but more superstars might be revealed closer to the season's launch date. Additionally, there are new operator skins for Valeria and Captain Price, who are wearing sleeveless shirts with heavily-tattooed arms.
