The prominent support player is now looking for a team to play on.

It's been a tumultuous month and a half for Cody 'Elementz' Sigfusson's challenger team, Area of Effect eSports. After being announced in mid-December, the team wasn't able to come together to qualify for the Challenger Series due to internal conflicts.

After Sigfusson admitted he was in a "rut" and unsure what he wanted to do next, he later tweeted:
Reforming team AoE. Looking for Top, Middle, ADC. Tweet me if interested. D1/Challenger only.

Team AoE was still alive. Sigfusson streamed ranked with the entire team on multiple occasions, but in the end, it just wasn't meant to be.

Again, Sigfusson hints in his video at internal strife as a determining factor for the disbandment of AoE.
"I can't manage to get myself and four other people on the same page, you know, to move forward, to show up on time, to put in the time and dedication needed to be a challenger team."
Sigfusson will now stream five days a week, but will also "try to continue to play" in order to get picked up by a team.
"That's really where my heart is."
