Colin McRae Rally 2005 announced for PC
Codemasters confirms that a previously unannounced PC version of its upcoming rally game will ship alongside the console versions later this year.
Codemasters today confirmed that a PC version of Colin McRae Rally 2005 will be released alongside the PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions later this year. The PC version will boast the same features found in the console games, including online support for up to eight players.
Colin McRae Rally 2005 will feature more than 30 cars, including the Toyota Celica GT4, Lancia Stratos, Alfa Romeo 147 GTA, Alfetta GTV Turbodelta, Peugeot 206 and 205, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII, Escort RS Cosworth, Fiesta Concept, Beetle RSi, Golf R32, and the 1967 Mini Cooper. By the time they beat the game, players will have raced in more than 300 rally stages and will have traveled to Germany, Sweden, North America, Finland, Australia, Spain, Greece, Japan, and the UK.
Colin McRae Rally 2005 is currently scheduled for release in Europe in September and in North America toward the end of this year. We'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
