Combat Mission: Afrika Korps Demo up
Sample of Battlefront.com's sun-baked sequel to Barbarossa to Berlin available now.
Real-time strategy gamers can now get some sun while indoors--provided they don't mind being shot at by Nazis. Battlefront.com has made available a demo level of Combat Mission: Afrika Korps, its desert-set sequel to Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin.
The Afrika Korps demo, available on GameSpot, features two scenarios from the game: "Frühlingswind" (German for "Spring Wind") lets gamers choose sides in the 1943 German-American battle for the Faid Pass in Tunisia. "Line of Defense" takes place outside Arezzo, Italy, in 1944, with an American armored assault on a German-defended bridge.
Combat Mission: Afrika Korps will be released on December 5th in the United States, Europe, and Japan. The U.S. retail price is $35.
