Comic-Con 2018: Mayans MC Trailer Debuts At SDCC

FX is hosting a panel for its upcoming Sons of Anarchy spin-off, Mayans MC, this weekend at San Diego Comic-Con. In the meantime, the company has given fans another look at the highly anticipated biker drama with a new trailer, which introduces the cast and sets the tone for the series. Spoilers for Sons of Anarchy follow.

Mayans MC takes place after the death of Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) in Sons of Anarchy. The series is set on the California/Mexico border and follows Ezekiel "EZ" Reyes (JD Pardo), an ex-con struggling to "carve out his new outlaw identity in a town where he once was the golden boy who had the American Dream within his grasp."

EZ is a prospect for the Mayans, a rival charter of the Sons. The cast also features Edward James Olmos (Blade Runner, Battlestar Galactica, Dexter), Sarah Bolger, Clayton Cardenas, Richard Cabral, Michael Irby, Raoul Trujillo, Antonio Jaramillo, and Carla Baratta.

Mayans MC is co-created by Elgin James (Lowriders) and Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter, who will return to the universe as an executive producer on the series. The first two episodes are directed by Norberto Barba (Preacher).
