Conflict: Vietnam explodes onto shelves
Take-Two's squad-based Vietnam shooter is now available at retail stores nationwide.
Global Star, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive, today announced that Conflict: Vietnam has shipped and is currently available in retail stores throughout North America. The third in the Conflict series, Vietnam is the first to take place outside the Middle East. The previous two titles have sold a combined 1.4 million units in North America.
A squad-based action game, Conflict: Vietnam allows players to control four soldiers simultaneously, making strategic use of their different abilities in 14 different missions to avoid the traps set by the Viet Cong and North Vietnamese soldiers. "The objective," today's announcement reads, "isn't to win the war; the objective is to make it out alive."
Conflict: Vietnam is rated "M" for Mature and is available for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC. The PS2 and Xbox versions retail for $39.99, while the PC game sells for $29.99.
