Cornwall adventure title gets US date

Bonus features planned but unannounced for September-bound Barrow Hill: Curse of the Ancient Circle.

A first-person PC adventure game set in the English locale of Cornwall has received a US release date and bonus features. Barrow Hill: Curse of the Ancient Circle will be released September 1 at a budget price of $19.99 on PC CD-ROM. The game, developed by Shadow Tor Studios, recently came out in Europe on DVD. Publisher Got Game Entertainment, which picked up the publishing rights to the game in June, declined to announce the list of features, saying only they will "allow you to delve even more deeply into the supernatural wonders of the real-life Cornwall." Got Game president Howard Horowitz said, "Unlike any other game before it, Barrow Hill: Curse of the Ancient Circle offers players the opportunity to get beneath the surface of archaeology. Shadow Tor has done a great job of combining archeology and adventure, but without all that dirt."

wait, so it's on a DVD in europe but it's coming out on a CD in the US? Did they cut something out or could it fit on a CD the whole time and they felt like ripping people off?

I don't think I ever heard of this! This does not sound so compelling to me at all!
