Cossacks: Art of War ships

CDV Software has announced that Cossacks: The Art of War, its latest real-time strategy game expansion, has shipped and will soon arrive in stores. The expansion adds a number of features to CDV's real-time strategy game Cossacks: European Wars, which was released last April. The new expansion is set in the late 18th century, and it continues the timeline of the original game.

In addition to five new campaigns and 30 new missions set in Prussia, Austria, Saxony, and Algeria, the expansion pack adds two new nations--Bavaria and Denmark--as well as six new ships, a new global rating system, a map editor, and four new levels of difficulty.

Cossacks: The Art of War was developed by GSC Game World, the studio that created the original game, and it will soon be available in stores for an approximate retail price of $19.99. For more information, take a look at our in-depth preview of the expansion.
