Crackdown 3 Release Date Delayed

Thought this game been delayrd since 360 >_>

1. GOOD! The more delays the better. I know millions of us still have a huge backlog of games to play from this current gen AND last gen as well.

^^^Regardless of how much they polish this game (or any game for that matter), it pays to wait 1-2 years after launch to play a game with the least amount of bugs and most/optimized features etc. The Division is a small example.

So in other words: "We have stop started this so many times we cannot even get the bare bones passed cert with it's own first party publisher. Expect a train wreck because if we actually had a clue during the development process, we wouldn't be delaying it for "Quality" purposes, which has always been a scapegoat since the dawn of the industry for a major F-up." Also, with the last UI debacle we just saw with the latest update, Microsoft has completely lost touch with it's fan base. I was looking forward to the Xbox One X because I was hoping Microsoft would learn from their HUGE mistakes with the X1. The latest UI "Improvements" were nothing but - so how the hell am I supposed to think they are going to improve? Which sucks as well, because Sony is starting to get lazy at the top. Just like MS did when the 360 was at the top. The Switch is a rushed pile of garbage full of backwards design methodology so that tub of crap doesn't even count. We need a new manufacturer of consoles to drive competition again.

Maybe MS should look to replace Shannon Loftis.

Sad to say this game is the one reason I was going to buy an XBox One X in November. Since I don't really care all that much about Forza (I used to love it but since 2015 it's been an IAP cash grab). I own all the game systems including an XB1 so if a compelling game came out worthy of an upgrade, I'd go for it. But with Mario Odysea on Switch, and Destiny 2 coming out on PS4 Pro (which was a lot cheaper and already does a good enough job at 4k; not perfect but not worth spending $500 right now). It's a shame, really, because Crackdown and Crackdown 2 were both a blast to play. MS really needed Crackdown 3 for a holiday title. Now they're left with what exclusives? Sea of Thieves? Looks pretty boring actually, especially compared to Skulls and Bones which is cross-platform. Maybe when Anthem comes out, the XB1X will be the definitive way to play it, but that'll be well into 2018 and by then the price will have dropped at least $100.

This is terrible news for Xbox owners. But more time does mean more quality so I hope its really good. Last couole of videos had me a bit concerned. Its been pretty dry this yrand the last.... Just a couple of great games. I hope after the release of the X, games will be their top priority.

this is why Sony is winning with their PS 4 exclusive and not multi platform. They want to sell the Xbox One X ok fine but why sell one and buy one when their aren't even good games coming out? Remember Scalebound? Many people are not buying any xbox ever.

yeah they probably got into trouble trying to optimize this game for Xbox One. That crappy gpu was one of the biggest mistakes MS made with this console.

As an Xbox owner, I fear this game might be cancelled eventually. Can we just get some Cyberpunk updates to even out the bad news...lol?

Prepare for No Mans Sky all over again!

They could delay this grand theft auto rip off for the next two years wont make a difference, it will be the same old crappy game.

This got no chance to sale know if RDR2 sale more if our same month.

Almost as bad as SE with all of these delays.
