Crash Team Racing Ships

Sony Computer Entertainment of America announced on Tuesday that Crash Team Racing, the latest installment in the wildly popular Crash Bandicoot series for the PlayStation, has shipped to stores. The game lets players assume the roles of some of their favorite Crash Bandicoot characters and race using go-carts.

"The Crash Bandicoot character has proved its mass popularity and appeal to gamers of all ages around the world," said Ami Blaire, director of product marketing for Sony Computer Entertainment America. "CTR is an exciting, high-speed, multiplayer racing game that has the potential to become one of the most popular PlayStation games ever created and will be on everyone's wish list this holiday season."
