Crave deals World Championship Cards
Budget-priced card game for the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable will feature cross-platform multiplayer.
Crave Entertainment is bringing a compilation of card games to Sony's PlayStation 2 and PSP featuring an online multiplayer mode that pits PS2 and PSP gamers against each other, the company announced today.
Crave, which is sharing publishing and developing duties on World Championship Cards, also revealed that up to eight people can play online at the same time. A few platform-specific features will also grace Crave's follow-up to its line of poker games. The PSP version of the game will support wireless, ad hoc multiplayer for up to eight players, while the PS2 version will interact with the system's USB headset and EyeToy camera. Both versions include a create-a-player mode.
Crave touts more than 30 varieties of card games, a list that includes solitaire, hearts, spades, bridge, gin rummy, crazy eights, and cribbage. The PS2 version of World Championship Cards will retail for $14.99, while the PSP version will cost $19.99.
