CRI undergoes company name change
The popular Sega development house officially changes its name.
CSK Research Institute (CRI) officially renamed itself Sega-AM2 on Wednesday. The company has developed Dreamcast titles such as the Aero Dancing series. After Sega's restructuring, most of its R&D division teams spawned off into independent companies, but the AM2 R&D division was reassigned under the CRI umbrella. Suzuki Hisashi has been appointed chairman of the board, and Sega's prized game developer,Yu Suzuki, is on the board of directors.
