Crimson Skies on Xbox Live

Microsoft reveals details on the Xbox Live support found in Crimson Skies.

Comments

Microsoft has revealed some of the Xbox Live features that will be supported in the upcoming flight combat game Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge. According to the company, the game will have support for up to 16 players in the dogfighting (or deathmatch) mode on Xbox Live. But the game will have a number of other online modes as well, including team dogfight, flag heist, wild chicken, keep away, and team keep away. Downloadable content will also be made available in the form of new planes and maps.

Interestingly, while playing the game online, players won't be restricted to just controlling planes. In fact, they can jump out of their planes and into an antiaircraft station, where they can shoot opponents from the ground. The controls in Crimson Skies have been designed to accommodate newcomers, but they also include a few tricks that will allow advanced users to pull off more-complicated maneuvers.

Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge is scheduled for release this fall. Check back later today for an impressions story on the game.
