Critically Acclaimed Farming Sim Stardew Valley Hits Impressive Milestone
10 million down, 10 million more to go--hopefully.
The indie smash hit Stardew Valley has sold more than 10 million copies to date, according to the game's developer ConcernedApe.
Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone tweeted a "thank you" to everyone who has played, downloaded, and supported Stardew Valley in the four years since its launch. "It's strange [and] amazing to think back when I was making this game in my bedroom [with] no clue if anyone would like it," Barone said. "[That was] four years ago."

In the four years since release, Stardew Valley has made its way to just about every platform available. The latest port of the game launched on iOS in October 2018 and Android in March 2019. Stardew Valley has received a positive reception in the years since, with our own review scoring the game an impressive 9/10.
Stardew Valley has seen some enticing discounts recently. A new Humble Bundle included the farming simulator for those who pay $10 or more, while a PlayStation Store sale slashed the game by three dollars.
