Cyberpunk 2077 World Map Revealed In Apparent Leak
A ResetEra user posted a very convincing image of a physical map that appears to be the full map of Cyberpunk 2077.
We're just over a month away from the release of Cyberpunk 2077 on November 19--provided it doesn't get delayed again--and we might have our first look at the game's full map. Today, a leaker posted a physical map on ResetEra included with Cyberpunk's physical edition that appears to show the game's full Night City, including such locales as Heywood, Santo Domingo, and Watson. [You can now find out what to expect in our Cyberpunk 2077 review.]
The map appears to line up with what we've seen of the game's seven major districts in promotional materials--particularly our lengthy video that goes over each of those districts, as well as the gangs and factions that appear in each one. The leaker also included a set of postcards that come with the game's physical edition.
Cyberpunk 2077 has gone gold, but development continues as CD Projekt Red continues to prepare for patches and updates that will follow the game's release. The game has received two commercials that star noted actor Keanu Reeves, as he portrays one of the game's many cybernetically-enhanced criminals. As previously reported, workers at CD Projekt Red are being forced to undergo crunch as part of the game's final leg of development, with a mandatory 6-day workweek. After that announcement, Bloomberg reported that some staff have been crunching nights and weekends for over a year to finish the game, despite CDPR's previous commitment to avoid crunch during the game's development.
