Developers Battlefront.com and Sonalysts announced today that their first Sonalysts Combat Simulations game, Dangerous Waters, has gone gold. Preorders for American and European customers opened today at the Battlefront Web site, and production will begin right away. Only available for purchase online, Dangerous Waters will ship in two different versions: a deluxe edition for $55 and a regular edition for $45. The deluxe package includes two CDs, a printed manual, and an installation guide. The regular package contains the two CDs, a printed installation guide, and the manual as an Adobe PDF. Dangerous Waters is the only game of its kind to let players control units above and below the water. It offers a realistic, modern-day naval environment in which players can control 270 different platforms, such as frigates, helicopters, and a variety of attack submarines. The game will begin shipping within the next four weeks.
