Fortnite Daredevil Skin Hits Today, But It Won't Be Easy To Get
You can soon dress up as Daredevil in Fortnite: Battle Royale, but initially, the process for obtaining it won't be as straightforward as most others.
Fortnite: Battle Royale adds its newest superhero skin today, October 14. That skin is Daredevil, but if you're a big fan, you might want to set your expectations--odds are, you won't be able to unlock the outfit right away. That is, at least unless you're really good (and/or lucky) at Fortnite, because Daredevil will initially be offered as a reward from a tournament that takes place today.
"Become the guardian devil...[by] competing in the first cup of the series — the Daredevil Cup — this Wednesday, October 14," Epic Games wrote on its official blog. "Top teams in each region will earn the Daredevil Outfit early before it hits the Item Shop."

How To Get The Daredevil Skin in Fortnite
The top players in the Daredevil Cup tournament, depending on what region they play in, will get the Daredevil outfit as a reward. The teams who finish within the top 800 in Europe or the top 500 in the Western North American servers, for example, will get the skin (the skin will go to all three members of a team). Here's the full rundown on what place you'll need to finish in:
- Event Prizes - Europe
- 1st - 800th
- Event Prizes - NA East
- 1st - 500th
- Event Prizes - NA West
- 1st - 200th
- Event Prizes - Brazil

- Event Prizes - Middle East
- 1st - 100th
Sometime in the future, Daredevil will be available on the item shop as a standard purchase like other skins. But if you want to be among the first to get it (and save yourself some V-Bucks), you'll need to take part in the tournament.
The Daredevil Cup is the first of four tournaments in the Marvel Knockout Super Series. This is Marvel Knockout, a limited-time mode that pits players in small 2v2 matches. It's not taking place in the games' standard battle royale mode. Three more tournaments are coming next month before the final on November 21. Players who participate in all four tournaments will get a special glider.
We'll likely see more heroes, and more special superhero legendary weapons, in Fortnite as these tournaments take place.
