Follow the route shown in the video. It’s not especially long or hard when you get to the first bonfire at the base of the tower. The large knights will provide you enough challenge though you’re welcome to revisit them later. For now, dodge your way along the path that lead to The Dragonrider, the easiest boss in the game.
BOSS: THE DRAGONRIDER

The key to defeating the Dragonrider is to NOT activate the switch guarded by the second large knight. That way, the platform of your battle against the Dragonrider remains narrow and subject to fatal falls. This fight is also a good reminder that enemies are also subject to the same hazards heroes have to deal with. The boss might think he’s being lethal with forward thrusts, but as our video shows, it can make him a victim of his own attack.
BOSS: THE OLD DRAGONSLAYER

When you enter the circular room with the three Old Knights, the path to the Old Dragonslayer is to the left (as opposed to the route on the right leading to the Dragonrider). Defeating the Old Knight nearest the drawbridge will reveal the switch that can lower the drawbridge, allowing you to access the Old Dragonslayer.
This boss fight slightly favors backward dodge rolls over sideways rolls, although the latter is better than nothing. If you plan to stay within the Old Dragonslayer’s attack radius, his leaping stabs and smashs are especially tricky since he can still adjust his aim at the start of his jump. All his other attacks, both melee and ranged, are easier to handle though it wouldn’t hurt to lose a few lives in the Hollowed state and study the boss’ patterns before making a serious go with a full life bar with your Humanity restored.
