Kadokawa Games, the parent company of Dark Souls developer From Software, has announced it will be hosting its own E3 press conference this year. Its media briefing will take place at 13:30 JST on June 13 in Tokyo (21:30 PM June 12 US time).

According to its announcement, which has been translated from Japanese by Gematsu, the company will offer new information on "Demon Gaze 2, God Wars: Beyond Time, Root Letter, and so on." Other upcoming Kadokawa Games titles include Reco Love and The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd Evolution. These may also be showcased during its briefing.

It is unclear whether the event will be streamed as of yet.

It has been speculated that From Software may also announce a new game at the event, but there has not been any concrete indication of this. The studio recently released Dark Souls 3, and is expected to follow-up with DLC content.

From Software president and Dark Souls creator Hidetaka Miyazaki previously confirmed development on a new property has begun at From Software. Further details on the game have not been provided, but it is very unlikely to be Souls related.

"There's absolutely no plan right now for any [Dark Souls] sequels, spin-offs, or tie-ins," Miyazaki has said. "But I can’t say for certain the possibility is 0% ... What is certain for now is, to me personally Dark Souls is over. So rather than make another sequel, I think it's time we take a step to a new direction."

Prior to the release of Dark Souls 3, Miyazaki echoed similar sentiments. In an interview with GameSpot he said he feels it'd wouldn't be the right to continue indefinitely creating Souls and Bloodborne games.

"I'm considering Dark Souls 3 to be the big closure on the series," he said. "From Software and myself together want to aggressively make new things in the future."

The first post-launch DLC pack for Dark Souls 3 will launch this fall. Previous leaks suggested things like new maps, bosses, enemies, and additional weapon and armor sets will be added to the game through DLC.
