Darksiders is not dead, says series' creative director as he drops hints for Darksiders 3

I LOVED Darksiders 2 and would be very happy to see a third entry, buy judging from how Nordic is handling Mx vs ATV Supercross I have my doubts. They announced it, showed some pics and that's been about it. The sad thing is that all there doing is basically building off the Reflex/Alive engine and progress is moving pretty slow.

I like both the games but I really expected more from Darksiders 2, the game was fun but looks dull like an MMO. If they are making a new game than they should work on graphics and also make story telling and other characters more clear.

The new owners said about a million times right after buying it that they were continuing the series, but not rushing to release the next game. But now that a random artist who may or may not be working on it has said so, it's finally a news story worthy of GameSpot.

DS 1 & 2 are some of the best game sI have played last gen. Truly underated if you ask me. People are complaining how it's copying God of War and Zelda elements, how the fuk can that be a bad thing when you combine 2 of the greatest games ever...

Anywho, I want to see the conclusion of the trilogy, but I don't think Joe Mad would have anything to do with the last installement as he left the studio quite some time ago and gave up all rights to it :/ It's his vision that I would of like to see realized in the last game in the serie, now we won't know what was really supposed to happen (story wise).

I really hope there is a sequel

DS 2 was so awesome I bought DS 1. Then I got rid of that piece of trash first game. But ya I'm excited for DS 3 as long as its as good as DS 2.

I have never played the Darksiders games before, but the way people talk about them makes me think I should.

No thanks. Part 1was pretty good for a start, but the 2nd games was an unbalanced easy and boring game. They should have stayed true ti the dark siders 1 formula.

Can they add a 5th horseman (the horseman are make believe anyway, why not)? People say they want to play as another horseman, but the other 2 horseman seems kind of dull.

And if the next one kind of chills out on the puzzles, that would be great. I loved the puzzles, but I felt like it was 75% of the gameplay, especially later in the game and in the DLCs.

I'm all ready to return to the world of Darksiders. Even though the story of Death wasn't the best part of the game it still was a very great experience.

I loved Darksiders 2, but if they have the rights to Red Faction then forget Darksiders and do another proper Red Faction. Maybe be like Red Faction 1 or Red Faction Guerrilla, but not like Red Faction 2 or Red Faction Armageddon (except maybe for the repair functionality).

I would LOVE to see a darksiders that is co op where you can play with more then one of the four horseman.

Day 1 for Darksiders 3 if make by ex Vigil staff and Joe Mad. Please don't have wrong perception that PC is dead anymore. You be plain stupid to think console make more money that PC gaming.

Nordic Games haven't done much to deserve praise or outrage, but I don't think they will turn to the Dark Side with Darksiders (EA on the other hand, with all their Star Wars games...).

Great. Really would like to see Darksiders 3. Of course with a new horseman as a main character.

darn it! I bought the 1st and second game thinking rick flair "conquest", arn anderson "war", dean malenko "famine" and chris benoit "death" were going to be there and they weren't! I kept my hopes high waiting for them to be on the 2nd one and they weren't! it's pretty obvious they are not going to be on the 3rd game so I'm not buying it!

Scrap most of the terrible ideas from Darksiders 2, then go back to the first game and work from there. Especially the loot system was terrible for progression, so i hope they didn't keep that.

Death was not really Death, but more of an errand boy as well.

Darksiders 3 needs to happen
