DarkSpace now in retail
Palestar's online space combat game was first released last year, but Got Game has now released an improved version of the game to retail.
Got Game has announced that the massively multiplayer space combat game DarkSpace is now in retail stores. The publisher says that the game has improved in significant ways since it was first released last year. The retail version includes a new soundtrack and a free one-month subscription to the game. New players with the retail version will start out at a higher rank, which expands the variety of ships at their disposal. Also, according to Got Game, player numbers are up dramatically since the game's initial release, lag time has been reduced, and Palestar has added a number of new features and fixes.
DarkSpace has a suggested price of $19.99, plus a monthly subscription fee of $9.99. For more details, check out our previous coverage of the game.
