DC's Justice League Movie Finishes London Shoot, Aquaman Star Missed Wrap Party
"I'm a huge fan of the food and merriment!"
The upcoming DC superhero team-up Justice League has been filming in London since April, but production there has now wrapped. Aquaman star Jason Momoa posted a new image on Instagram, congratulating the crew and apologising for having to miss the movie's wrap party.
Momoa wrote: "There's too many people to thank for all their hard work [on] JL. Tonight is our wrap party. I am so thankful for my cast and crew. I love you. I have never in my life missed a wrap party, as you all know I'm a huge fan of the food and merriment!
"Unfortunately I prepare for the north. For those that will be there, I WON'T let you down. See you Monday."
Mamoa's comments imply that production hasn't entirely finished, and some location work will continue this week.
Last week, director Zack Snyder tweeted an image that teased Deathstroke's appearence in the movie. The armored mercenary has already been announced as the main villain in Ben Affleck's standalone Batman film, but the Justice League storyboard that Snyder was working on also featured an illustration of Slade Wilson, Deathstroke's alter-ego.
Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017, and also stars Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Willem Dafoe, and Amber Heard.
