As production continues on the DC superhero team-up Justice League, director Zack Snyder has been posting some on-set images. Last week he revealed Batman's new-look suit, and he has now tweeted two images of the iconic Bat-Signal. One features Snyder himself, and the other provides a first look at JK Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. Check them out below:

Earlier this month, Simmons spoke about completing his role as Gotham's most famous cop. "My part is done," he told ET. "They are filming for basically most of 2016, so some of the superheroes are still at work in jolly old London, but I'm back home with my family."

Although Justice League brings together a host of DC heroes, including Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Aquaman, Simmons said that the majority of his screentime was with Batman, played by Ben Affleck. "Yeah, mostly with Ben," he said. "In this [movie], Commissioner Gordon is not a particularly sizable part.

"We just kind of introduce him and see a little bit of his interactions with Batman--and with most of the Justice League. That was a really fun set."

In other DC news, last week it was confirmed that Warner were actively developing a sequel to 2013's Superman film Man of Steel, which kickstarted the DC cinematic universe.

Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017, and also stars Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Willem Dafoe, and Amber Heard.
